I like to eat pickled jalapeños on pizza, but don’t like to eat preservative laden pickled jalapeños that all the stores in my area sell (isn’t pickling a means of preservation? ugh). So I make my own which is far too simple to waste time outlining (basically boil 4 parts organic apple cider vinegar, 1 part water, a pinch of salt, and pour the liquid into pickling jars full of veggies). But I thought the photos I took of the process were beautiful. So here they are:
